Beginning his professional carrier as an urbanist and after working in Istanbul in architectural offices for several years, Utku Serkan Zengin moved to Florence to be trained in fashion design at Polimoda. Following his internship at Haider Ackermann in Antwerp he moved back to Italy, La Spezia, where he works with local producers and launches his eponymous menswear label. His designs, which carry subtle traces from his eastern roots, his architectural training and his ongoing studies of local histories of fashion, are crafted with precision and elegance.
